The educational tool is both very sensible and very easy. We’ll be using this tool to teach local kids in school and eventually teach them how to code and add to these stories. This tool transforms local black history to mainstream history. The more we empower people to add to these stories, the better.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a sponsorship and how much does it cost?

We have three tiers of sponsorship, including our Gold, Platinum, and Diamond packages! All packages include being featured on our external platforms and social media. By selecting our Platinum or Diamond packages, you will also have the opportunity to gain access to upgraded sessions, coffee chats, and even an opportunity to fund a fellowship! For exact details and pricing for each of the sponsorship packages, feel free to contact us at [email protected]!

How are our sponsorship funds utilized?

Our sponsorship funds serve many purposes within our organization! With the help of your funding, we are able to:

  • Keep costs lower for our nonprofit partners
  • Fund our operation expenses, including infrastructure costs
  • Host organization-wide bonding events
  • And more!

How long will my sponsorship last?

Our sponsorship packages will roughly last for a semester, give or take a few months for the breaks! Our Fall semester spans between August and December, and our Spring semester is from January through May.

In what ways can I get involved as a sponsor?

Aside from our aforementioned sessions from the packages, we would love to be more involved with your organization if you are interested! We are more than happy to forward messages from your organization directly to our members, and you are always welcome to stop by any of the public events or showcases we host. If we have opportunities for collaborations on internal initiatives, workshops, or bootcamps, you will be the first to know!

Why should I sponsor Hack4Impact?

By sponsoring in Hack4Impact, you would be able to support our mission of developing tech for social change, as well as our core values of curiosity, empathy, and intentionality. The projects we work on are well-scoped and adopted by our non-profit partners for long-term use. You would also be contributing to the technical and professional development of our members. Hack4Impact members are passionate about tackling important social issues, collaborating on teams, and learning.
